An Indian coach cannot have the command a foreign coach will have on Indian players, especially senior players. Further there are no professional coaches in India. However, the fact remain that unless the players change their approach towards the game and start playing with responsibiloity, dedication, determination and urge to win no coach, whether Indian or foreign, can change the fortune of Indian cricket.

I say we must have a coach who is understanding,he must know the emotions of the players,he must be commanding and strict(but a soft heart). He must not only help the senior players but also the youngsters.A player like this should be the coach of the Indian Cricket Team,be it any one A foreigner or an Indian

who told you that indian will understand teams emotions, one thing you should understand for professional(ism) players there is no need of a coach. but a coach for a team is nothing but a formality so foreign or indian is not a matter to discuss any one can handle it easily, finally what or whoever coach may be players should perform well i mean international players means they are professionals they should not depend on coach

Must be a foreign coach. Tom Moody is good. if you thinking of any Indian old players to be a coach. they are all unfit. fat, sloppy, lazy and look unfocused. look at the Great Kapil. He is still not mature enough. I saw him crying on the TV few years ago. when media accused him of match fixing scandal. You don't need that sort of ppl coaching Indian team.

No Coach can required for Indian team. There are lot of Head in one team. There are lot of super stars in Indian team. Their result is same like Brazil in football. Moreover, their media is putting extra pressure on their shoulder. Let them come out from these shorts of hazards, then they will automatically go ahead. Coach is just a symbol of guide.

india needs foreign coach because he's going to be neutral - previous indian coaches brought their regional feelings to the selection process - West Zone coaches would prefer West, North - North and South, South - Indians as a people are full of biases. Unfortunately, we do need foreign coaches as they are very NEUTRAL and concentrate only on their job!
Remember it was Dave Whatmore, a foreign coach who brought Bangladesh this far!
But yes, I am against Greg Chappell - he should be sacked immediately and John Wright - the previous New Zealand coach must be brought home.
Enough said.

A Foreign coach would be a better choice....
Anyway, whoever coaches the team it merely lies in the hands of the players to do their best...thats what we saw the last few days(Indian team's performance)....

I agree on the batting and bowling coach, however the pinnacle coach desires to be a lot greater senior for my area and not a participant who has shared the Dressing room with every physique in the present squad.... apart from, Ganguly could be waiting to do a lot in terms of having some emotion and aggression in the gamers' psyche, yet I doubt if he can particularly help technically..... i think of somebody who has spent time in the college on the Academy might fit greater effectual.
