Depends on what you mean by "money". Are you talking about actual money supply as is M1 or M2? Or are you talking about all financial assets? Or all you talking about total U.S. based assets? Or just total Net Worth?

The most narrow measure, M1, basic money supply, comes to about $4,000 per person at the moment. But I reckon total assets must be at least 100 times that number.

The U.S, Goverment owes almost 8.9 Trillion dollars, yes trillion.
The total national debt is about 5.5 times that. How much money is in the United States??????
