Its with respect to the other team which qualified from the same group. Whichever team has won their fixture will carry forward 2 points.

In group A,Aus had defeated SA,so Aus will carry forward 2 points while SA with 0points.

In group B,SL had defeated Bangladesh,so SL wil carry forward 2 points.

In group C,NZ defeated Eng,so NZ will carry forward 2 points.

In group D,WI defeated Ireland so WI will carry forward 2 points.

As simple as that.

When 2 teams from the same group enter the Super 8 and if one team has beaten the other team in the group stage will carry forward the 2 points they got in group stage for defeating the other team. From Group B, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have advanced to Super 8. Since SDri Lanka have defeated Bangladesh in the Group State, the 2 points they had earned for defeating Bangladesh have been carried forward to Super 8.
