I dont use ANY! Its not needed if and when you finally learn where the BS comes from! I have a lan with 4 pcs on it. 1 pc is set up for the youngins. Common sense is the best protection you can have! Viruses come from p2p (file sharing sites) and freeware downloads! None of my 3 work pcs have had a virus in 4 years! Only one gets viruses! The one that the youngins use to download all their funk! The first time they used it for that crap, they were sat down and taught how to clean them out! It took about 2 weeks and guess what? They stopped using them BS sites!
EDGAR sums it up pretty well! You use these sites, you take a risk and NO amount of virus protection is gonna catch it all!

Well, I did use Kapersky. But, I've since upgraded to Vista Ultimate and Kapersky doesn't work with it. So, not I use nothing. But, I do have a copy of Fix-It Utilities Pro 6 that I'm not using if you'd like a key. I don't recommend using McAfee. Too much of a resource hog. I also have a copy of System Mechanic Pro 6 and 7 which I'm not using (due to incompatibility with Vista) that you're welcome to if you like. SM 6 Pro includes Kapersky AV - which is one of the top two AV utilities available aside from BitDefender.

well i dont use any i just use smart downloading because only an artard can get a virus. i mean cmon people dont open a file called cooldialer.exe if some guy from Nigeria sends you an email saying you've won the irish lottery. lol that aside, McAfee seems to be the best for the rest of my family.

I have McAfee Security Center, and it's been a great service, contrary to what many people here seem to think. I think it's a good idea that you're planning to get it.
