my mother is black, and my father is polynesian and i know alot about the black culture but very little about the polynesian culture, because my real dad is never around. what are some facts or characteristics about polynesians?

Fact: Samoans have thick hair.
Fact: Samoans are very polite.
Fact: Samoans love to dance.
Fact: Samoans love music like reggae anything with an island bet and other stuff too.
Fact: Samoans love to joke and laugh. A lot
Fact: Samoans like Samoan food like taro, cooked banana, corn beef, coco, bred and butter, luau, and pig there are many foods.
I have grown up in the Samoan culture for a long time and my kids are also half.
I have learned to cook a lot of foods and some of the language. It’s a grate culture it really is. I live my life in there culture so if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Lucky you I'm half Samoan half black LOL theres is toooo much to say I mean the culture is huge and we hold it deep, and we practice it every day so to help you out go here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samoa
It has all the information that you could ever hope for from history, to culture, to other information as in language at the very bottom there is a list of other sites and one of them is a English-Samoan dictionary and vice versa, it also teaches you grammar and it TELLS you about the other Samoan language that is for the chiefs ( the chiefs speak a different kind of Samoan) but its not really written down because no one really keeps records of it like that, but there are website that they TRY to but its kind of sacred so thats why its not really written down. American Samoa is an American Territory but Samoa (formally known as Western Samoa) is independent (where I'm from) and all Samoans DON'T have thick hair ignore that, that list is kinda wierd.
