well i am a generally trim person (male age 17)and my abs arent bad but right above my hips and outside of my inner ab range (where you would notice the six pack that i dont completely have) i see these bulges come out over my hips and it is impossible for me to have a flat stomach and look really tirm. I think this is probably because my pelvis is tilled forward but this useless tissue that is not fat comes out of nowhere.

You should work on your abs daily. Bad diet is a big part of gaining fat around your abdomenal muscles. Watch what you eat. My trainer does not like me to eat junk food and fried food.

Are you sure that its not your obliques sticking out? If not, you may have wide hips. Also, (to feed your ego) some abs are so big that they stick out, like ronnie colemans(Although I'm sure HGH had somthing to do with that too). If all else fails, diet, diet, diet, diet.

watch your diet. here www.elitefitness.com and just read around and what kinds of foods your supposed to take it. No matter what you do to show your abs your diet is #1. If your diet isn't healthy your cardio will do no good.

if you want flat abs no soda or beer and when you work on your abs take a little protein but make sure you run it off.
