how do you feel when you hear your own voice?
i tried recording my own voice on my computer and when i played it and heard it irritates me......
how about you?

omg i feel the same....it's awful!!!! i always ask people if i actually sound like that, and when they tell me i do i actually feel embarrassed!! haha...owell : )

What's weirder is hearing someone who sounds EXACTLY like you.
I'm a journalism student, and I was at a college interviewing this guy. When I went back and listened to my recording of the interview, I heard my question, I heard the guy answer, and then I heard my freaking VOICE TWIN interrupt to ask the guy for a key or something.
It was freaky.

I hate hearing myself!! I was on the news once and I didn't even listen to what I was saying because I was so busy being disgusted by my voice. Same with leaving myself a message at home on the machine.

Well, my second husband told me he absolutely loved the sound of my voice. I, on the other hand, do not like it. But I sound like my mom did when she used to sing...when I sing, that is; and when I'm talking I sound very young. Sometimes it's an irritation to me, but then my looks match even though I'm.........ahem...older.

I see our home videos and sometimes I cringe......I sound so much like my mother. Ugh. I even say the same things she says. At least my husband says that my voice is honey. Too bad he isn't an American Idol judge. :-)
