warranty is a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article, by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace, if it is necessary with in a specified period. Another way it is an engagement by an insured party, that certain statements are true or that certain conditions shall be fulfilled, the breach of it invalidating the policy.

it is a contract telling you that if the PS2 game console was destroyed.It will cover your expenses in repairing it or replacing it in a certain amount of time given in the warranty..However if the Ps2 is destroyed due to ntural calamities,the company responsible will take no action in repairing or replacing it..

Basically, it covers your Ps2 if it blows up, overheats, or fails to work altogether.
