I think so, but they'll be out in the first round. I'm kind happy for J-rich though he has never been in the playoff. I think he deserves it.

The Golden State Warriors are a good team, in terms of offensive firepower. Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, Jason Richardson, Monta Ellis, and others have good chemistry. With Davis at point, the Warriors continue to thrive in their uptempo style. There are six players averaging double-figure points, with Davis leading the way at 20.4 ppg.

However, with that said, their defensive fundamentals and intensity is not there, yet. They give up 107 ppg, which does not get it done. Golden State averages 105 ppg, so the offense is definitely there. But, Mike Montgomery does not have this club playing decent defense. They also get out-rebounded every night with a -5 margin.

Most likely, Golden State will be able to make the 8th spot or even 7th. But, they will likely see a 1st round exit, since their defense is not even close to decent. As time moves on, and this club continues to play together, their defense will gradually improve.

Look at the Phoenix Suns. Although their stats do not show their defensive presence, it is evident that the way they play, defensively, has made some major improvements from last year.

Don't worry Warriors' fans; they will be there soon!

The people that say it will be up to the Hornets or Warriors are ignorant and don't know basketball.

Apparently they have no idea that the Clippers are 8th right now and have a decent lead and have won 4 straight. If it is down to anyone, itll be the Clippers and the Warriors....maybe even the Wolves make a run since they still have KG.

Sorry, nope. Nellie ball is wonderful to watch. But down the stretch and into the playoffs, real contenders ratchet up the defense, make fewer mistakes, and give every possession a little more relevance. None of this works in the Warriors' favor. They're gonna come up just short.

Yes, and when they host Game 3 in Oakland in the first round against Dallas, there will be a major earthquake in the Bay Area to offset the karma.

I hope I'll see them in the playoffs, they are also an exciting team and they put up good fights against the better teams, I'm not sure who their next opponents are but I really wish they could make it, too bad they lost today but its not too late

I think they can catch them if they start monta ellis at sg and put j-rich at 3, steven jackson better off the bench anyway, so i think its gone come down to them and the hornets for that last spot
