pampers swaddlers!!! they are by far more soft and absorbant and also cheaper then huggies, i haven't been brave enough to try the other brands lol, and another thing that happened to my baby when she was 5 months old was i used pampers since she was 2 months and then used a huggies and it gave her diaper rash. they must not pull the moisture away as much i don't know

Pampers diapers until you get to size 3... then switch to Huggies. These are the only two brands I've found to be the best. The huggies seem to do better in the larger sizes... and especially during the night... don't ask me why. I've tried White clouds, CVS brand, Especially for baby, and Playskool (which sucks royally)... and wasn't really happy. Not worth the hassle to save a few bucks. This has been my experience
As for wipes, I prefer huggies because they are meatier wipes... thick and quilted. My husband hates the thick ones... but he doesn't get a say since I change most of the diapers around here. CVS brand is also pretty good... nice & thick... but the wipes don't always come out of the dispenser nicely. I found that I was constantly having to refeed the wipes through. Now I just stock up on Huggies wipes when they're on sale.

I will not use Huggies. When the diaper gets full, it leaves behind these little granules which are hard to pick off your babies toosh. Oddly enough though, Huggies wipes are better. White cloud doesn't have the inner fold channels so they are more prone to spillage and they do not have a gel inside to help absorb wetness from babies bottom. I tried Parent's Choice once and my son got a rash because he was really sweaty in them. He has very sensitive skin and the only diaper to ever work for him was Pampers. My sister on the other hand, used Parents Choice without a problem so I guess it depends on the child and their reactions to certain products.

ps. I wasn't impressed with Luvs either.. like I said, no channels or gel.

Pampers diapers, they do not leak like huggies,I used to use huggies supreme and my son kept pooping out the back and sides so I switched him at 4 months and have never had the same problem, even if he poops when he is in his saucer it still doesn't come out.Pamper sensitive wipes,I have tried Huggies and little pieces seemed to come off and stick to my babies butt.I have heard that Huggies seem to work for fatter babies,I know my cousin has 2 kids and both were chunky baby's and she used Huggies Supreme and never had a problem,my son is now 7 months old and only 14 and half pounds so he fits pampers great.Good luck.

I prefer White Cloud for my sons. I like the fact that it has a bit of an elastic waist. This helps them fit better and helps avoid poop from escaping up their back when sitting on the floor. I have rarely had problems with leaks - during the day or at night. The only times that they have leaked was if it was time to move up to the next size and hadn't noticed. And, on occassion when my son didn't want to be changed and kept avoiding us (lol) and overfilled his diaper. My older son was allergic to Pampers. We have tried Huggies off and on and had problems with gel being left on his bottom (this happened even after only slightly wetting his diaper).

Wipes - my older son was also allegric to both the Pampers and Huggies wipes. We use the White Cloud wipes as well. They are nice and thick and wet but not overly wet. I actually like them better than the other brands - expensive or cheap - that we have tried.

It depends on you child's build and if they have a negative reaction to the diaper, wipes or diaper cream you use. Best of luck finding something that works well for you little one!

I found that the best diapers really depends on my babys age/size. i know that sounds weird but we like pampers swaddlers(with the umbilical cord care) or whitecloud for newborn, huggies for size 1+ they don't leak as much as the other brands. For wipes Huggies is worth the cost, the wipes are softer, stronger and clean up much easier than cheaper or generic brands. looks at it this way, using 1 huggies wipe vs 3-4 of a cheaper brand.

pampers smell REALLY good (before used of course) but Huggies does the same job. And LUVS are good too, especially for the price. I used parents choice some until my son got older, they didn't seem to be strong enough then.
Good Luck. Hope that answers your question

BTW, the only wipes I wouldn't recommend are those u can buy at a dollar store they are really rough and don't clean crap (literally)!

I have used pampers for all three of mine(16 yrs., 10 yrs., & 4 months). I tried Luvs and huggies but my 2 youngest have super sensitive skin and they broke them out. My oldest would leak out of anything but pampers. As far as wipes go I like pampers wipes because their softer, but I use huggies sensitive because their thicker and just seem to get my daughter cleaner.

I LOVE pampers, they're nice and stretchy and I've never had one break. I really don't like Huggies, mostly because they have gel in them and it leaks on the baby's skin and it's hard to get off.
I also like pampers wipes because they're moist, and huggies are dry and harder to pull apart. It's the little things that matter.
I use Pampers wipes cause they're free for me though (I work at a day care, my boss gives me wipes).

We use Huggies for all the newborns because they seem to fit better and though more expensive, the newborns are worth it. For our 2yo we use parents choice. Cheaper and they seem to work almost as good as the Huggies. Pampers and other brands don't have as much elastic and seem to leak more.

As for wipes we use the non scented cloth wipes, usually by parents choice at walmart. my wipe has been a stickler for cloth (we tried cloth diapers for the first 2 kids exclusively, then changed to disposable for the 3rd and 4th.)
