for those that dont kno agent zero = gilbert arenas

How awesome is GA? He makes 10 dollar bets with fans that he will make a game winner during a game, he gives money to police stations for better equipment w/o telling anybody, he says hes going to score 50 every other night (and even if he doesnt, its still funny), he goes back to where he grew up to play ball w/ the kids, and he challenges teammates for 50 grand shooting one handed and wins (if you didnt see the video look on youtube)...

In a day in age when players get arrested every other week, fighting in games and cheating on their wives, this guy is actually a positive role model.

Agent zero/Hibachi you are the man.

I recall people betting on games making a great player not get into the Hall of Fame.. Pete Rose maybe? Lebron is a much better person than Arenas is (not saying the best, but better). He forms bike rides for under-privelaged kids. He gives away hundred of bikes and then rides with them. What a thrill for a kid like that. Not to mention a better overall player with a bigger impact on every game he plays in.

Arenas is one a hell of a personality, without whom all that NBA show wouldn't be the same. I mean, the guy is sometimes so funny that it is obvious that he doesn't taking playing basketball only as his job, but also as a kind of fun. Nowdays, this sport became too much serious and straightforward without too much creativity allowed for players. Although, I don't like players that take the ball selfishly to themselves only (for instance Iverson, or Bryant), Arenas is kind of different to me. Probably it is the fun-factor why I forgive him for the selfishness in the game. However, that bet with fans about game winner shot, although has ment t be for the good cause, it was wrong in it's essence. With such premotivation he put himself above the team and they maybe lost the game because he wanted to make that shot so badly that he wouldn't make the pass to someone who was in far better position to shoot the last ball. That's really bad..

I'm with you. The guy fights adversity during his whole career and just worked hard to get where he is.

And his blog on NBA.com is high comedy.

I'm a guy who grew up in the 90's in Chicago, so i have no reason to like the guy except that he can ball and he's entertaining.
