There is no equation for sodium azide. The formula for the compound is NaN3.

There is no reason why Na metal would react with solid KNO3. In water solution, the reaction of Na metal would occur with the solution, but unless the reaction uses up all the water, this wouldn't effect the KNO3 which would exist as K+ and NO3- ions.
