I just turned 14 in January, and I have been wanting to get a job to pay for: clothes, workout equitment and other things. Does anyone know if I can (especially in Arizona)

I began working at McDonalds at 14 in Wisconsin. As far as child labor laws, the US has something called the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) which basically means that you can legally work, but the hours per week, shift times, and type of work are limited. For example, at 14 at McDonalds, you cannot work the "grill" area (making the food) and you can't work during school hours (Monday through Friday, days off do not count) and late nights. Just keep in mind that while the cash may sound nice, work sucks! If you can get by begging your parent(s) for money, do that!

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time.
