Limewire is your best bet for single tracks and rare stuff. However, if you like downloading full albums, or if you want something new and popular, bittorrent is a good way to go because it is faster and it stays organized for you.
Go to www.utorrent.com, and download the program. Then go to www.btjunkie.com, www.isohunt.com, or torrentscan.com to search for your music and download it. It certainly takes a few tries to figure it out, but along with limewire, torrents are a great source for quick downloads!

It is awesome! It's the best there is. You can use it for free with possible pop ups OR (this is the best way) pay like $18 (a one time fee) for as long as you use the computer you download it to.
I've used it for three years without a single problem.
