Now that most people in the most developed contries learn to analyse film and t.v. in school, the message doesn't need to be so explicit.
Thinking about the show after it's finished or discussing it with friends can reveal a moral message.
Having the message made too explicit can be patronising and doesn't allow for alternate interpretation. It's good for children, maybe.
Things will be very different by the time moral messages are the norm again, but with the increasing power of the Christian movement in America, that mightn't be too far away.

Unfortunately, no. They say the pendulum will start to swing in the opposite direction, but I believe society's values and behavior have changed so much there is no going back.
Evident is the sick humor that we as a society exhibit today and the desire to see more and more violence. We are not far off (50 years?) from throwing men/women to the lions for entertainment and amusement.

ethical relativists could be thinking the thought of "purely." to respond to your question, if there have been a hypothetical society wherein women human beings have been denied administration over mate decision, and that exchange right into a cultural norm, that would desire to be involuntary sexual intercourse that ethical relativists could say exchange into ideal. i could argue that such societies have existed and nonetheless exist, and there are ethical relativists apologizing for those practices. In different words, i could call intercourse below an arranged marriage "rape" in maximum circumstances. i'm no longer protecting ethical relativism or rape, in case that wasn't sparkling.

Many TV shows today offer "moral messages"....the problem is, they promote BAD morals. If you're wanting to see shows with "good" morals, you'll have to settle for re-runs of "Little House on the Prairie", "The Waltons", "7th Heaven", or an oldie..."Apple's Way".
