Kids are over whelmed at a young age,if they receive to many gifts,They do not know how to enjoy them.so they walk away from them all.Not there fault. Sooner or later that child will turn into a pure brat.again ,not their fault.I love to see child you hand a little toy to and their smile is ear to ear. They appreciate there one gift.So be careful and read their actions.

for me it when a kid is demanding things or just being demanding to their parents, their grandparents, their relatives, their friends, an acquaintances, and teachers. Demanding, to me, means wanting but not giving, and wanting for no reason (maybe to test parents about their love because the kid is insecure). Sometimes a spoiled child will have tantrums when they don't get their own way.

There is also the kind of spoiled child which you're referring to where parents give them everything in sight to keep them quiet, and instead of giving them love.

So now I'm curious as to what you mean by "just a brat". A brat to me is just a mean and spiteful kid, bitter at the world for perhaps misconceptions or being left out.

I would have to say its the appreciation they give for what they have, be it a little or alot. I know in my home my parents had a pretty decent income and they bought me a new truck when i was a senior and would have payed for my college but I decided to go out on my own and do it so I joined the Air Force. Just because people have money doesnt mean they are spoiled, cause chances are they worked hard for that money.

A child that does not understand the value of the object (toy, etc.) that he/she has received and treats it very badly, or ignores it after all the time wanting it so badly - to the point of hitting parents last nerve.
A child that is raised with weaker than normal parental guidance/discipline produces a child that has no idea of limits or consequence of their actions.
Children are blank and only record the words and actions of their parents.

i think theres a way to buy your kids anything and everything you want to buy them, and they still learn to appreciate it, and not to "expect" everything. i think its those people that let their kids expect that everything should just be handed to them, that become spoiled. my son has every toy imaginable, and we take him places all the time (like busch gardens, adventure island, the park), and give him things that he may not earn, but he doesnt get all bent out of shape when we tell him no, or not buy him something or take him somewhere. you see those kids and teenagers that know their parents may not be able to get them something, or do something with them b/c of lack of time or money, and they get mad... i think the difference between being spoiled and not spoiled is simply how they handle being told no, and how much they appreciate what they do have.

all of those you had wrote,,,,its shows and pictures a real spoiled brat,,,,remember its not good to spoil them with all the material things coz what if one day parents cant afford to buy all of what a kid will want they will only be the one to suffer the circumstances,,,its nice to spoil them not with material things but with love and respect,,,,,God Bless

All of that, but a true spoiled child will, whine, throw tantrums, to get their way, and pout.
They can turn it off on on like a light switch.

Someone who never has to earn the things that they have and rely on mommy and daddy for everything. It all kinds of goes hand it hand because then they tend not to appreciate what they have and get that bratty attitude

All of the above, and add in a lack of manners caused by a lack of discipline.
