So me and this boy...well call him Rob. We were dating 6 years, and then we broke up in August and we each dated other people. The girl Rob dated was named Jill. Well in November, me and Rob started talking again and he broke up with Jill and I broke up with my bf at the time. Well about 2 weeks later, Jill finds out she is pregnant and it could be Robs baby (not sure yet tho). Is it wrong for me to stay with Rob. He says he wants to take care of the baby if it is his, but does not want to be with Jill. Am I a bad person for staying with him?

I don't think your a bad person, but if it is his, he has a responsibility financially and personally to be the best father he can be. That may not mean marrying Jill -although that would be the best thing- but not if it will not last.

You have a question to ask yourself. Can I allow him to be a part of his child's life, knowing that means he will have be talk and be around Jill for the next 18 years; on a regular basis. AND, can you live with him sending her a good sum of money when your own rent is due or you need to replace an appliance or you can't afford to take a trip...can you do that? Are you sure?

There is nothing wrong with you staying with Rob. After all when she got pregnant you weren't with Rob so I say you can stay with him and not be a bad person

Not sure. I think that I would fight to be with that person but allow Rob to be actively involved in the baby's life.

If he doesn't want to be with her neither one of you is a bad person.

He needs to use condoms to make sure there are no more "surprises" until he's ready for one.
