There are no shops in malls which carry those brands here. However, there are export overruns distributed in 'tiangges' here in the Philippines. You'll have to go to the 'tiangges' to find some overruns of those brands here. The best place to find those are in Greenhills Shopping Center in Ortigas Avenue. One American Eagle shirt will cost you around PhP300.00, less than 10USD. Same goes with A&F, Hollister, etc. So 6,000USD would be too enough for shopping alone. You might also want to visit the biggest shopping center in the Philippines, the SM Mall of Asia located in Pasay City. SM Megamall, Shangrila Plaza and Robinsons Galleria are malls near Greenhills. You can find high-end fashion here but none of the brands you mentioned. Glorietta Malls and Greenbelt are the best shopping malls where you can also find 'tiangges' in it.
Email if you have some questions.
Have fun shoppinG!

if she has that amount of money then its more than enough to do shopping alone. she can live here for almost a year comfortably. anyways back to the question, those brands does'nt have its own boutique shops in the philippines yet, but some malls do carry them, like gateway mall in cubao, Quezon City and the Rustan's malls.
If she wants real bargains then the best bet would be divisoria, 168 mall, tutuban mall all can be found in Manila. also she can try greenhills and the Ortigas center in mandaluyong. they all carry cheap goods with really great prices.
If she wants the malls then SM is the best, second would be the robinson's malls. they can be found almost in almost every major cities of the country.

These are not common brands here in the Philippines. Exchange rate is $1.00 to P 48.00. The rate depends on a daily basis it may range from P47-48+.
The best shops here are in Glorietta 1-4 in Makati City. The best stores are located there.
We have the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It is the 7th largest mall in the world bigger than Mall of America in Minnesotta. Rockwell is in Makati also. Shangrila is in Edsa in Mandaluyong City.
There are SM ( Shoemart ) Department stores in almost each place but I dont think they carry those brands.
I had only seen them in the USA.

Ordinary shirts cost around 250 Pesos or around 5.3 US Dollars. A 900 Pesos shirt is beyond regular. These are already high end shirts. I suggest your friend go to Philippine boutiques/shops like Bench, Sari-Sari, Penshoppe, Kamiseta and others. It is useless if she buys stuff that she could probably find in the US. When you are in the Philippines, do you still want to eat McDonalds? Go somewhere else and experience Philippines.

There's no specific store for those brands of clothes. But try going to Glorietta, Greenbelt (both in Makati), EDSA Shangrila (Ortigas). If not try Mall of Asia in Pasay.
That's definitely enough for shopping but you can also spot some cool clothes in local shops.
But if you're really looking for a bargain on brand name clothes go to Singapore or Malaysia this June cause its like a MEGA sale on all stores in Singapore & Malaysia. Good thing I'm gonna be going there just in time for the sale.

There are no American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Anchor Blue, or Pac Sun boutiques in the Philippines (yet), but if she is looking to purchase those brands specifically, she can visit any Surplus Shop branch in Manila to get great deals on export overruns. However, based on experience, US brands are cheapest when purchased in the US --- in either a store sale or in discount outlets like Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx.... etc.
As far as clothes shopping goes, there is a plethora of opportunities to do so here (in order of decreasing price):
1. For brand name clothing, most malls in Manila house trendy international boutiques including those from the UK (like Top Shop, for instance etc.). 1 shirt is about P1,900.
2. Local boutiques and department stores (such as SM and Rustan's) carry loads of up-to-the-moment styles by local designers and brands at a fraction of the price of imported name brands. Comparable shirt about P800.
3. Cheap clothing brought in from China, Hong Kong, Korea, and Bangkok can be found in a tiangge -- or covered, air-conditioned flea market. Greenhills, St.Francis Square, and Market Market are popular destinations. Comparable shirt about P400-600
4. Wholesale distributors of imported clothing (mostly from China) can be found in Tutuban Cluster Bldg. and 168. They also sell retail, but selections are almost homogeneous. E.g. an imported shoe store carries practically the same items as the shoe store a few feet away. Comparable shirt about P200-P400
Also: Custom made or made to measure clothes are also an option available to her if she is staying for a longer time. Filipino designers are very talented and quality is excellent :-)
All other shopping: Overall, malls are her best bet if she would like to do all her shopping (clothes, souvenirs, food, arts and crafts, music, books, electronics) all in one place. Prices are fixed (no bargaining skills required).

I think that would be enough. My beau & I spent 2,200 EUR for 6 weeks vacation in the Phils. & that includes the accomodations, transportations, foods, souvenirs, nightlife, and a li'l shopping. (Except the Internat'l airfare.) I'm not that sure if those shops you've mentioned is available in the Phils. Then the regular
T-shirts will cost you 500-800 PHP. Good luck. (--,)
