Could be plenty of matters. Your auto isn't gas injected so that you the carbuerator might be clogged, it would want adjustment or it would even want rebuilding/substitute. There is mainly a mechanical idle velocity adjustment as good that are meant to be checked. Your mechanic will realize what to do exactly wait till Monday and provide an explanation for what is going down. If you must mess around with it you'll be able to make sure that the airfilter is blank. Underneith the airfilter there will likely be a throttle mechanism that controls the airflow into the engine - make certain the ones add-ons are good lubricated and running easily. You will see what's probably known as the "butterfly" underneath neith the air clear out - if you happen to step at the gasoline pedal you'll see it open and near while you allow off. Make definite it is running thoroughly.

From what I remember, it's near the passenger side firewall. If I'm correct there should be a vacuum line leading to it.
