ha! this happened to me last week.....
when I am blamed for something I didn't do by someone who doesn't bother to get their facts straight before chewing me out...I can NEVER bite my tongue when that happens.

the reason is because the humans posses the good and the bad in them. the good include happy, nice, modest, humble, gererous, etc. The bad include anger, jelously, arrogance, etc.
Now the problem with humans is that the majority do not have the ability to control the bad and the good, thus creating human. Humans are now equaled out with the good and bad. one of the biggest reasons we lose our cool is when someone insults us after we have done something hard or just want to be left alone. Humans have a nature in which we have to have power and equality with the insulter, thus bringing out rage and anger to show that we are not to be messed with.
i, myself dont lose my cool unless someone insults my brother to much. I found out the best way to control anger. Since humans want power and equality with others, we bring out anger. Now what you want to do is to control this anger. control it until your nemesis brings out his/ her anger, which then you use. Since anger has a side effect of loss of comman sense and control over oneself, you then use your opponents anger against them.
Your control basically brings power, which brings tyrancy, which then brings world domination ( on your scale it is the domination against your insulter)
The insulter is basically using this method.

well, i hate gettin angry and irritated, it spoils the mood of wherever you're. But one thing that really makes me loose my cool would have vagabonds, people who brag, make up stories, and nagging. you know, the normal things.. But if you mean something a little more political, i would have to say injustice, and i dunno if it happens in other countries, but a lot of times in india, a few really public cases like riots, murder and bomb blasts have been dragged on for a long time. The longest one that i know of- 22 years, the Sikh Riots. You know they say, justice delayed is justice denied.

It's really when people begin speaking very inappropriately, about me, and don't stop. Especially once I have told them to several times. I end up just denying they exist after that. Or you get into a debate with someone, and they begin shouting, and you get stifled out just because they are noisier.

When I have to deal with ignorant, bull-headed people who think they're smart I can feel my blood pressure going up, but I try to stay calm and act professional. They're maddening, though.
