well, that really depends on the baby. 2 of my 3 babies slept through the night. i would have to wake them to eat when only a few weeks old. some babies just need more than others but i suggest you try a schedule if you are having to many problems with sleep.

Depends on the baby, my daughter was sleeping through the night at 3 months and my son is 4 and sometimes still wakes up. It is better now but before he was waking up 2-3 times a night still.

Every baby is different. Some sleep through the night from very early on and some never seem to sleep through the night. If your baby is older say about 3 months you can try adding rice cereal a very tiny amount to his night time bottle and peirce the nipple hole a bit bigger if you need to as this will help him sleep through the night with a full tummy.

yes, all babies are diffferent...mine slept thru the night at 9 weeks old...he's almost 14 months now and he's on a very regular schedule and seems to do fine...i realy feel that for him, conisistency has been a huge part of making him so well adjusted...that, along with always staying calm and not showing any frustration when the baby won't sleep will make the baby feel more secure and lead to more sleepful nights! Good luck!

It depends on the child and the routine you develop with the child if it is older in age of course infants sleep longer hours when their feeding habits change try to pay attention to the pattern that your child is setting and make the necessary adjustments gradually to suit your sleeping needs , I wont get into suggestions as I don't know how old your baby is.....

Ours started sleeping through the night a few weeks ago at 3 months. We put him down at 7pm and did a "Dream feed", where we fed him without waking him up at 10pm and he slept until 6am. a few nights ago we did away with the dream feed and now he sleeps from 7pm to 6am. he sometimes whines a little bit in the middle of the night, but if we leave him alone and don't go in his room, he'll get himself to sleep in a matter of a few minutes. if the crying escalates, we still don't pick him up, but pat him until he gets himself back to sleep. but now that we know that he can make it through the night without needing food, we don't pick him up from the crib. that would just wake him up more. and because of all that he's gotten great at getting himself back to sleep without food, rocking, etc...

my daughter was about 2 months old. I believe its having a good schedule and sticking with it. We also put her in her crib at day 10(she had to be in a bili-bed for jaundice for the 10 days) so thats all she knows.
