They have to draft Quinn. It would be ludicrous not to draft him. The first piece needed to start building a winning team is a quarterback. Quinn would fit into the system at Detroit (though I would feel bad for Quinn if he does get drafted there, because Detroit is a horrible place to play), much better than Russell would if the Raiders decided to draft Quinn instead (which they won't do and I am sure everyone can agree with that). No one will trade what Detroit would want for the number 2 pick, so Detroit is stuck with the pick almost guaranteed. So in my opinion Quinn is their only option.

Either Brady Quinn or Joe Thomas. Either Jermarcus Russell or Calvin Johnson will be off the board on the first pick, but Quinn would be a better fit in Detroit then Russell anyway. They need help in there interior line, but those additions at tackle would allow them to kick someone down to make room for a premier LT. But, Brady Quinn is there best choice. When you spend 3 first round picks on receivers, you better have someone who can get them the ball.

the only way the Lions might screw this up is that in the event that they commerce way down from the #2 spot, like out of the suitable 10 because of the fact they should get a suitable 10 prospect to assist them out...........the best p.c.. could be a Brady Quinn or Joe Thomas........yet while they experience that they desire yet another reciever which i in my view dont think of they do (seem for a breakout season from their new reciever Shaun McDonald) they could get Calvin Johnson. i in my view think of that if Brady Quinn is on the board they should take him........he's maximum waiting for the NFL on the grounds that he has been in my view counseled by way of Charlie Weiss (a guy that Tom Brady credited along with his progression) for 2 years. If not him I say they get Joe Thomas to assist the O-Line or Gaines Adams to assist their bypass rush which wouldnt be a foul theory because of the fact their secondary isnt looking too great at this element after dropping Dre Bly.

The Lions should:

1) Fire Millen
and
2) Trade down for more picks to fill all the holes they have on both sides of the ball.

Trade down and get more picks. They need a offensive lineman and could trade down and still get Joe Thomas or trade back many spots and still pick up Levi Brown.
Many teams will want to trade up to the #2 spot to get Calvin Johnson assuming Russell goes to the Raiders with the first overall pick.

trade it to any team who's willing to take matt millen with the deal and have him be GM for at least a year. They should trade into their division as this will make that team suck for the next 10 years

Trade down a half dozen spots and get Joe Thomas. They don't need a RB (Bell and Duckett, plus mabye Jones), and while Quinn is a nice option, Thomas will be an anchor for years. It all starts up front...
