My molecule is sulfur hexachloride (SCl6) I have to build a molecular model, I already did that, it was easy. But I also have to find at least 3 physical properties such as melting point, boiling point, state of compound at room temperature (solid, liquid, gas), color or smell, etc. and I have to state one practical use of my molecule. The problem is that I have looked for a long time and I can't find any information. Please Help!

Well, if u cant find the exact values, then you can draw a lewis structure and predict what its properties would be like. For example, if it is a non-polar molecule, it would have a low boiling point, whereas the boiling poing would be a little higher if it has some degree of polarity. The same goes for melting point.

wow that is a good question- I've looked as well there doesn't seem to be much- have you checked a detailed property- organic chemistry chart- should have what you need good luck
