With a lineup full of power and a few stud pitchers, can Toronto return to 1992-93's glory years and make it back to the post season?

They have a chance, but only if Burnett and Chacin make their 33 starts this season, and if Frank Thomas can duplicate what he did last season with the A's. The Yankees better hope Wang can get healthy and back on track and Pettite and Mussina can crank out another good season of starts from their old arms. I'm kind of intrigued by Bostons rotation. Schilling, Beckett, Matsuzaka, and Wakefield-with Papelbon closing 'em out-I get a better feeling about Bostons chances this season as opposed to the Yankees. OK, I'll add this caveat-JD Drew will have to play 145 games this year(yeah I know, that wasn't fair...).

Well I am a Giants fan so it really doesnt matter that much to me but I would either like to see the Blue Jays or the Red Sox make it....the Yankees have won enough times...lol

The Jays have been steadily improving in the last 3 years or so. If they stay healthy, and can play consistent, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't take the AL East, or the very least the wild card this season.

Underdogs always have a chance. Neither the Yankees or Red Sox are defending World Series champs

(except the Arizona Cardinals in football - they just suck!)

No. Tampa Bay will win the East before Toronto will.

I say the key is Burnett (if he can pitch healty) and if Rios plays up to what everybody thinks he can. Then yeah, they got a good chance.

One would hope they could, but it's tough to beat other teams that spend like drunken sailors.
