We are going to Greece and we have only 10 days. My husband thinks we can see Thira on a day. I want to see Akrotiria, Fira, The Prehistoric Museum, Thira foundation, and Ancient Thira. We would take the first fly to Thira and leave the same night. I would like to know if it is possible?

it is possible but you will be running all the time. Rush rush rush. Why not spend the night and leave next morning. After all it is the site of one of the most ancient civilizations of the west and of the most powerful volcanic explosions in historic times (10 thousand times more powerful than the Krakatoa)

If you don't see the sunset from thira you be missing a good thing..
