Is it bad for you to put eyeliner on the inner part of your eye? Becuase many of the eyeliner sticks I buy discourage it but many fashion magazines encourage it. I must admit it does look nice, but i dont want to do something that will bring harm to my body.

i believe it is not bad, unless you don't sharpen the eyeliner because of the bacteria, poke your eyes, or harm your eyes with it.

I put eyeliner on my inner lid and I've never had a problem. I've done it for a while too. As long as you aren't sharing your eyeliner or you don't use your eyeliner if you have pink eye or something, you should be okay.

I put eyeliner on the inner eyelid. I used to do it regularly growing up, but not as frequent anymore. I have had no problems. Just remember NEVER share your eye make-up with anyone!

It may cause a bit of discomfort and if someone else uses your makeup i would discourage it because it may spread infection. Plus dont do it if one eye is infected and the other isnt. Other than that i havent come across any health problems myself. Good luck

make sure every couple of months you get a new eyeliner to get rid of the bacteria. I wouldn't recommend doing it every day. But i put it there very once in a while.

i do it everyday, if not twice a day and there is no real damage to it unless you're careless and actually poke yourself in the eye with it
it can cause some irritation, especially the first time and if you wear contacts
other than that, it isn't too bad, and it looks great!

It is okay to put it on the inside of your eye, as long as you remember to wash it off before you go to sleep. Prolonged use can clog pours(yes in your eyes) and give you a pimple in your eyelid, otherwise known as a stye which is painful and can take a while to heal. Personally, I put it on the bottom lid, but I wash it off before bedtime, and I give myself off days to give my eyes a rest. Hope I helped:)

I've done it for a really long time, It doesn't hurt your eyes or anything like that... If you have sensitive skin or something, then I probably wouldn't do it, but you should be fine.

it can irritate the eyes, especially if you wear contact lenses. a good thing to do if you're lining the bottom lid is to try to apply it on the lash line.

Hmm as long as the eyeliner wasn't cheap. but if your eyes are sensitive, i suggest you not, and don't when you have allergies.
