Your opinion on RAMAYANA and MAHABHARATA -
As per a recent Judgment of one of the High Courts in India -" Any person has the right to express his opinion on anything" but it shall not be binding on anyone. You you are at liberty to say that Ramayana and Mahabharata never took form. At the same time we Indian-Hindu friends have the right to JUST TO FULL IGNORE anyone's opinion, which we feel is WRONG without giving any explanation what so ever.
So, we Hindus know fully well the facts of these Epics and we need not or would not comment anything on your saying as above. Best of luck-

I am not sure that they took place or not. In fact I doubt every such historic events never took place. I doubt Quran as well as Bible.
Pretty clear the those epics are wonderful books, and treach us a lot of things. However, I cannot explain the architectural structures dating back to eras of Ramayana and Mahabharata. They seem to be so relevant aslong with the scripts. Besides the recent discovery of beautifully constructed city of Dwarka cannot be denied.
As far as your or mine belief is concerned. We can just assume that what we suggest is the truth. As a matter of fact, no one can ever prove assumptions reagarding these matters to be the truth.
One believes what he sees. But he sees only what is shown to him and only what are within his sight. He has no idea of the world beyond his perspectives. And when talking about something that has supposedly happened thousands of years ago, we require to go through a lot of research to get near to the truth.
Mail me if you have any question.
Now... has this affected you?
Forget about whther I wanna believe you or not. Ask yourself, how authentic is your belief? Is it something that you have travelled through past? Can you take people out there too alongwith so that they can believe you?
All the best...
:-)

I will agree with you on one point - we must take the deepest meaning behind each of these great sagas, and not put too much importance to the way these ideas are presented.
Then does it matter if these events took place or not? In any case, how do we prove it?
Each religious sect, like shivites, tantriks, etc has its own interpretation of history as it has been passed on to them through their ancestors. In fact it is true for every religion. and there is no way to prove whether things happened the way one sect claims or the other.
So it is safer to let the holy men say whatever they want, and you believe whtever you choose to.

There is a big difference between a story written by a person and a real story. The reel story contains the story of a particular person or group of persons; even in that story it doesn't contains the story of their father's, their grand father's, and so on on till the first forefather who was born on this earth. This is present in ramayana and mahabharatha. Even though ramayana is just a story of rama, it contains the story of many other characters too. Rama in ramayana is from Chandravamsa and krishna who is present in mahabaratha is from Suryavamsa. Both Chandravamsa and Suryavamsa have originated from Brahma(the first person created on the universe).
You can read the family tree of Chandravamsa and Suryavamsa at http://www.tatvavada.org/eng/mbtn/mbtn_11.shtml
Every story talked in the hindu scripture has some link to each other. If the stories written by different persons have link between each other, then it is no longer a story; it is the history recorded by different persons.

To your question there is very simple answer thats it
1) There have been two sunken cities discovered near gujarat. One dates 2000 BC or more, the other dates 7500 BC or more. Dwaraka is supposed to be a sunken city near gujarat dating to 3100 BC
2) Rama's Bridge is carbon-dated to 1.75 mil years ago, around the time of ramayana. It was submerged around 1500 AD, until then passable by foot. Many other spots have been confirmed with the ones in Ramayana.
Even harappan civilisation, whose script has been undeciphered by the west, is being deciphered by applying vedic sanskrit successfully to 2000 seals. This shows no invasion either.

Dear Friend,
Sky will not fall and the world will not come to an end if you told what you wanted to say.
But, Ramayana ,Mahabharata and Bhagavat Geeta are the blood that is flowing in all Hindus.
Many researchers have proved the actual happening of these two Great Epics, with all the documents, photos of the Dwaraka that is now underneath water, near Gujarath, and the Great bridge of Ramayan that exists underneath the ocean from Rameswaram to Lanka has recently even been photographed and the photos were available in all major magazines.
The astological star position, the constellations and the actual beginning and end of wars with their Tidhi(day) vaara (weekday) and Nakshatra (star) which were researched by eminent astrologers and scientists and uneqivically it has been established that these two DID HAPPEN REALLY.
There exists no doubt in any Hindu minds about its reality.
Even in the Book CHARIOTS OF GODS by CHARLESS BERLITZ , he describes the Ramayana ,how exactly it happened through a discussion between Rama and Seeta while they are returning from Lanka after the killing of Ravan.
Sita sks Rama '' Oh nathah (dear husband) how is that the Rainbow now we are seeing is a full circle?Normally it is a half cirle?''.For this Rama replies ''Oh Janaki(Sita) now weare taravelling at a great height from earth and so the earths horizon will not obstruct the view of other half. The rainbow is circular always, but for those on earth it apperas only half.''.Then he goes n explaining the India (Bharath) from tip and explains thevplaces they stayed, the forest etc etc in great detail.UNLESS ONE HAS TRAVELLED IN SPACE AT A HEIGHT THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE TO IMAGINE AND TELL.
Similarly,at all major events , we see they are so beautifully narrated with astronomical details, with that help you can know the truth of the Epic.
Similarly in Mahabharatah, we see all major events are clearly explained with relation tocelestial position of constellations and stars.
The war Muhurtham (The good and auspicious time ) to start is explained. After the thirteen years of aranaya vaasa +agnaata vaasa, when Arjuna appears in thr scene og uttara Gograhanam, the Great Bheesma will explain to Duryodhana , who feels happy that their incognito period was not still over and so again they have to go for 13 years of exile, Bheesma clearly tells tje 13 tears were over by the previous day and so all the events are open for research and finally truth will emerge.
Finally, let us not bother whether, these happened or not.(though they really happened beyond doubt).the Epics are of Great value to entire humanity and for Hindus
they are their life. The great morals, the system of living explained, thecqualities aman shall have, the behaviour of a man under different conditions, the types of men and women. the duties of Kings and those inchrge of welfare of oeople. the respect that should be given to elders...etc etc ..whatever that is in life is explicitly explined there.
For any person who reads with open mind they give excellent knowledge, makes them understand the meaning of life, make them know what Love and Compassion are.
There are so many things in 100,000 Slokas (couplets) of Mahabharath and 24000 slokas in Ramayan.
Dount doubt and waste time.Spending 99 yeras in research and realising that it is true, no time is left to follow what you learnt.
Try see the good in it.Follow if you can.Surely you get benefitted.
Similarly all religious scriptures like Bible,Koran,etc....dont waste time arguing the reality of its happening.Follow what has been said in faith, and you will be benifitted.
God is one.All roads lead to HIM.Let us not cultivate hatred towards our brethern.Let each follow his own faith.
Let there be LOVE COMPASSIN and friendship.
So help Oh GOD.

U have not provided any evidence for your claim. Have u travelled back in time (with a time machine) and was unable to find rama, krishna, hanuman, sita etc. Even this would not prove that the ramayana and mahabharata did not take place, only maybe your time machine has some flaws.
