i've thought of many answers, but yes, the one thing that keeps coming back to mind is that one phrase, "world peace". That much power, they could do wonderful things. The world would never be the same and so many people would see they were wrong about the whole "human rights will kill us" thing. Noone would have any reason to fight them if they just stopped being such global a$$holes.

Liberals have an optimistically ideal point of view on the world, if all the world where liberal, that would work out well.
The problem with the liberal perspective is that it is easily preyed upon by predators and freeloaders.
Liberal behavior only thrives in a free democratic/republic society like the USA and Europe. What they, (liberals) don't see is that if we just mind our own business & give freely to anyone who requests a handout, we will eventually be crushed by foreign nations who are freely able to build up an agressive military, (like a Hitler or Stalin, or Iran), or we will be overcome by an eventually overwhelming onslaught of freeloaders who realize how easy it is to survive off of the government without working to support oneself, while we are all stoned and dancing at Woodstock III.
In a perfect world, liberalism works, but so might communism.

What would happen if people who expressed extreme viewpoints, *way right* or *way left* would just stop?

Is this an attention thing?

Liberals, Conservatives, Communists, Facists ...

How about right of center and left of center?

Any well thought out questions? Any enlightened responses?

Get back to reality, and quit being a troll.

The liberals would split right down the middle, liberal and ultra liberal. In a years time it would be same old, same old with undecided between liberal and ultra deciding the issues. The only thing we can agree on is to disagree, it seems like.

There would be almost no violence.

It would be a lot quieter. No more crazy ranting by people like Bill O'Reilly.

Women, black people, gays, and non-Christians would finally feel safe everywhere.

White men would no longer feel the need to boss everybody around. They could relax and enjoy life for a change.

More people would get a better education and better access to decent health care.

Other countries in the world would realize they no longer have to be afraid we'll invade them, and they'd calm down. After they'd gotten used to us minding our own business, other countries might even see us as a friend again.

Better environmental protection, way less people in prison and more drug addicts in treatment, better diplomacy and international relations, an effective campaign to halt and reverse global warming would actually happen, green energy, better protection of rights, religious toleration, more secularism in government, universal health care, medical marijuana, species protection, better more effective and more legal and ethical anti-terrorism action, A pullout in Iraq, Troops would be transferred to Afghanistan and a bigger anti-poppy plant campaign would happen, troops would go into darfur and end the genocide, more and larger humanitarian efforts, better American-Muslim and better American Arab relations through tact and respect of customs and figuring out what is offensive behavior when having dealings with them, energy independence, a big sustained push for world peace, and I Don't maybe more sex for everyone?

Our government would go broke because they would be giving us free handouts. We could call ourselves The United States of Soviet Socialist Republic. Oh, they would raise taxes. That will make everything o.k.. Nevermind.

Being a liberal myself I can honestly say that I wouldn't want that to happen. On the same note, I wouldn't want to have all conservatives. You can't fully understand your own beliefs until you understand the oppostion.

It would be bad because then we would all agree with each other, and without conflict we will never achieve anything or hear of opinion's other than that of Liberals, therefore we would fail. Just for the mere lack of competition.
