Sound and mic not working?

Sound and mic not working?

I keep getting an error that says there are no active mixer devices availible
my windows disks aren't helping.

Not trying to be "negative" but there are a LOT of little tweaks and buttons to get sound working (when not working).

You are probably best off getting somebody "in person" who knows. There are too many variables, and too many unknowns.

If you're using Vista OS then you have to right click, properties, and run under XP system pack 2.

you may need to update your sound drivers.
