Depends on if it was your fault or not. Were you jay walking, or running out in the street?

If you were JAYWALKING, YOU are at fault. They should not be giving you any money. Next time , obey the law. Doesnt matter if you were "NEAR" the crosswalk. You obviously were not in it. I feel bad for the poor person who hit you who now has to pay all this money for your idiotic actions. You should be fined for jaywalking and given a bandaid for your booboo's

The amount should be the total of the salary you missed, the cost of the surgery, and compensation for pain and suffering. So I would say somewhere in the 6 digit range.

If you were jaywalking, then you are partly if not totally at fault.

You obviously have a very good attorney.

What I would deserve is simple reimbursement for all my medical expenses and the salary I would have earned during my recovery. Now if I lost my job that is a whole new issue.
