Make it. Or, take a look at patterns in a fabric shop and then ask the people who work there if they know of someone who would make a prom dress for you inexpensively. The clerks at Walmart in the fabric department should be able to refer you to someone who wouldn't charge you very much at all. It's always MUCH less expensive to hire a seamstress to make a dress than to buy one off the rack. AND, it would be designed and tailored to fit you beautifully. Just inquire. You might be pleasantly surprised. Also, it wouldn't take more than a week for the dress to be ready for you from when you order it.

try forever 21.. sometimes people get lucky there but u gotta look around for a while.. you can try ordering a dress online--some places have super sales b4 prom search prom dresses on google and u should defiantly find some.

Find a good resale shop in your area using Yahoo! search engine. You can find good deals on beautiful dresses. If not there, Charlotte Russe has some cute, stylish, and affordable dresses. Good luck girl:)

Trust me trust me trust me!! Go to Windsor or Macy's, they might be cheaper at Windsor but i went shopping for a dress a while ago and i think Windsor and Macy's have the best.

deb shops! i bought my junior and senior prom dress from there and they were only $60 and $30 dollars. also try visiting king of prussia mall,if u live near pa. or stores in phila and little street boutiques in nycity.
