I don't know how many of you have already realized this, but seriously, did you ever think about the fact that a cupcake is a cup of cake, or that baseball is a game with bases and balls? I never really thought about that...

Whats even weirder to me, is that there are actually IN and OUT doors...and I'm not talking about like in restaurant kitchens...that is totally understandable....
I went to Walmart the other day, looking for a new cordless phone....and I was amazed at the amount of people ENTERing the EXIT door and the people EXITing the ENTER door.....
This was startling to me, because I really couldn't figure out if I was supposed to follow the crowd....be bold and do it the proper way, as so thoughtfully suggested by the establishment....and then I got to thinking.........what if its just my luck and I ENTER through the EXIT door.....and the door police are there? Then I would be in jail, for something that most likely carries a stiff penalty and my poor kids would be without a mother..............
So now......cupcakes are actually cups of cake?.......OmGosh! Will I ever get any sleep?????

I've thought of the cupcake one, but not the bases and balls. I've never really thought about it either.

well there is always crab cakes, tomato soup, hot-dogs, french fries, hamburgers, wild flowers, lawn-chairs, sprinklers, beach balls, . . . and well I guess every word gets it's name somehow, based on it's use no doubt. : )
