Yes, but FAT32 won't recognize the NTFS drive. So it's recommended to have the NTFS drive as the master.

why yes of course... the fat32 drive would be good to store data on like music, videos, etc. while you keep your os and other stuff on the NTFS... fat 32 is more volatile and NTFS is more stable but fat32 is slightly faster...

Very true. It is also based on how large the hardrives you are trying to format. Win XP and Win Vista use a different version of NTFS so don't dual boot them in the same partition.

see if you are using xp then you can be operate both partition ..whether it is fat32 or ntfs
but in windows 98 n some other old version ntfs is not executing ..

If fat32 isnt working for you, its only a comand line away to convert fat32 to ntfs, but you cant convert ntfs to fat32
