There are many websites on the web where you can check your IQ for free. www.tickle.com is quite a popular destination - They give you your IQ score, along with certain strengths, but you will have to pay them for sending you the full report - which is quite good( I once got one sent for myself - but that came free as part of some programme they started!).
One more option would be to use GMAT/GRE preparation book(borrow one from one of your friends/acquaintances if you don't have one) and get yourself a tentative score from one of the tests . This is because they include logical, quantitative,as well as verbal aptitude. It should help you to some extent.

And it helps to remember that your IQ is never really set in stone. As you keep your brain sharp and up-to-date, you will see a change in the way you think, and consequently, in the way your brain is tested. Basically, I think it means that you refuse to get bored!

I would recommend http://www.queendom.com They've got some free IQ tests - some of them are verbal. In addition to that, they've also got various career tests. Wish you good luck!
