The values changes literally by the minute. It is based on the exchange rate between Canada and the USA. You will also find the rate is different if you have Canadian and want to buy US or if you have US and want to sell it to get CAD. Be aware there are preferential rates given based on the amount of money you are exchanging 1000.01 will get you a better rate than 999.99.
