I read this on a site that sells Louis Vuitton Bags and they were trying to figure out if it was authentic or not. One side was upside down. One comment was..
"Actually if you look at the speedy bags on the official LV website you will notice that the LV logo is upside down on one side. This is because the purse is made from one piece of fabric which would cause one side to appear to look upside down. If this purse had a bottom panel and both sides looked right side up, i would think it was a knockoff."
I went to the site and it didnt show the back side of the bags well the ones I looked at. so if this is true one side of the bag is upside down

Anything that is not sold on the actual LV site has the potential of being a fake. If you want a bargain price, ebay has a good chance of having the real bags. From what I've read, the reason LV's are so expensive is because they DON'T use one piece of material for the whole bag. They use a separate piece for each side that is precisely cut to ensure that the LV logo is not cut off at the seam. Any bag that has the logo upside down on any side, or a logo that is cut off at the seam is not a real bag. They waste a lot of material, but the attention to detail is what makes it expensive.

I have never heard that story, but the best way to tell if its real is to only buy at the vuitton store. and since they are all over its easy but i looked at eluxury and it is not upside down and if you think about it you would see that is has to right side up or then you would really think it was fake and you would know how to tell i mean it would be news

definite its as a rule made with one piece of fabric from what i understand. My chum has a pretend Louis Vuitton bag you may tell from the colour of it also the strap is slightly to lengthy on the bag.
