I'm jealous...I loved Boracay! I didn't take a van though, I flew in to Catlican and then took a ferry to Boracay.

From where will you be hiring the van? From Manila?
From Kalibo airport, the van going to Caticlan plus the boat ride from Caticlan to Boracay Island plus the transfer from the Boracay Island Port to your resort is Php 200.00/person.
Going back to Caticlan: From Boracay, you take a tricycle to the Port (php10/person), then a boat ride to Caticlan (Php 20/person) plus Php 20/person boat terminal fee, then from Caticlan to Kalibo airport, you take a van that is Php 150/person.

You have to be specific, hire a van going to boracay from where? If you're coming from Manila then i hate to break it to you but it's impractical to do that. When you get to Caticlan, you'll have to leave your van there since large vehicles are prohibited in boracay. There are no cars, nor vans there, just tricycles and small jeeps. If you're talking about a van from the airport in kalibo to caticlan then that'll cost around 200php/person. Here are the usual modes of transpo and iteneraries going to Boracay:
a. via philippine airlines or cebupac (around 2k-4k/head depending on the airline) going to kalibo then ride a van/bus to caticlan(around200/head), then palm boat to boracay (around 60++php/head)
b. bus via ro-ro (around 800/person) im not really sure about this one since i havent tried it
c.plane straight to caticlan via asian spirit or seair (around 6k-7k roundtrip) then tricycle to the jetty port, palm boat from the jetty port to boracay
hope this helps!

where will you be coming from? it's not advisable to take a van since you wouldn't be needing it when you get to boracay. unless you would take the RO-RO wherein you are allowed to bring your cars or any transport with you, but it would really be a hassle on your part.

You have to add some more info. Like for how many days and what area you are coming from, (like which city in Metro-Manila, if from there).
