The answer is no it takes a couple of weeks for your body to know it is pregnant (to produce the hormones and stuff) The chances are you body is going through some sort of change this can be due to stress or depression or enviroment related have you had any other symptoms that you may be overlooking in your anxiety about being pregnant, sometimes the uterus has older blood in it that it needs to get rid of and it can realease it prior to periods starting....If you are really worried about the change go see a doctor and rule out all possibilities.

first off, having sex the day before you start bleeding, does not mean that you can be pregnant. secondly, it takes about two weeks for your body to start to make the pregnancy hormone once you become pregnant. that is why most home test will registar that you are pregnant on the first day that your period is regualry due, but you miss it. thirdly, you will ovulate about two weeks before your period is due. if you track your periods on a calander, you will be able to predicte this time. the thing with birth control pills and many other forms as well, is that you have to take that pill at the same time every day. and if you miss one or are late taking it on a day you can mess up your cycle. also, i recommend that you use more than just birth control, like also using a condom, as the pill doesn't always work. also, instead of asking on yahoo, just go to the store and buy a test. if after a week or so, buy another one to retest.
