I am not on any birth control I have not had clots like this before either, just a little bit, which I know can be the speed the blood leaves your body. THis is quite a bit more. I have three kids, youngest nearly three.

Get it checked out. I was really anemic like two years ago. was dizzy and tired all the time also. Go to a doctor. We can't tell you what's wrong over the internet.

Hello, there could be many causes of this. Have you ever had a menstrual cycle like this before? If so it may be normal. If you are dizzy though you may want to be seen if it carries one for more than one day. How many days has this been going on?? Well the general rule is, as long as you are not soaking one pay on one hour then you are fine, if you are then you should be seen. The uterus is highly vascular and bleeding can get out of control and cause problems very quickly if not tended to. God Bless.

If you are having very heavy periods with dizziness then you need to see a gynocologist. You most likely have low iron due to the heavy flow. Get checked out, this can be a sign of much more serious problems!

This happened to me for this first time this month. It's my first month on ortho tri cyclen lo and I had many clots with severe cramping, neither of which have ever happened before. Have you changed anything related to your period lately? New bc or skipping a period?
Good luck!

Anything to do with blood clots is very dangerous. I suggest you seek proper medical advice from a doctor ASAP.

How old are you? This sounds like MAYBE you have an ovarian cyst...that's what happened with me. It's not going to get any better, please do yourself a favor and go to the gyn doctor now!
