not a nite club!!! i'd have a different activity each fri and sat: comedy night, idol, kareoke nite... def. not a nite club atmosphere... a nice place to let the kids go to and get them out of the Malls!!!

I'm definitely not under 17 but when I was, there were three clubs for the 17 and under. They were great! However, as a mother there is no way my kids going.

Not a bad idea. I would go! You will need to make sure to balance keeping the place safe with no drugs or alcohol and it being "cool" enough that kids want to be there. Maybe make it seem like an adult club with a bar but serve nonalcoholic drinks. Good Luck!

Well, I'm twenty-eight, and I think if someone would have done something like that when I was just getting to go to dance clubs, I would have loved it! That would take a lot of work and a lot of gasoline, but I think there's a lot of kids out there who would think that's a great idea... there's a lot of merit to it.

Just make sure you get plenty of liability insurance.
These are kids you are talking about. Parents are quick to file lawsuits for negligence on your part.
