I don't think we're very smart at all. I've seen animals do some really amazing things. We get good ideas that work really well for the time being. We can't get past the concept of now. Everything we have depends on something we can easily lose. Then what? Cars need gas. We're running low on crude oil. Computers need electricity. Natural disasters can wipe out power in an instant. We are so reliant on things that can be taken away so easily. Where a bear prepares for winter all summer long and is ready for it long before it needs to be.
