no, i think the best role models for children are their parents. because they are the people the see every day. celebs are only seen for a min at a time. who can be a good role model that way?

I think it really depends on the celeb...some of them know that these kids look up to them so they try to be good role models, others just don't care. Then there is a few who never used to get it, but now they do so now they are trying to be good role models ( like Christina Aguilera), Tyra banks is a good role model, and will smith is too.

That question has FAR too many possibilities.
Britney Spears=NOT A ROLE MODEL for anyone or anything.
Anthony Hopkins=A GREAT ROLE MODEL for everyone. He has worked very hard to get to where he is. Has experienced some hardships, but has risen against them, has great respect for himself, his family, his friends and his art.
There are too many "celebrities" in the world and not all of them are the same...some have drug problems and some are the opposite. "celebs" is too broad of a word.

theyre good role models for kids who want to be movie stars.
because movie stars usually started out that way, and cant believe their good luck in achieving their dream. However, most people go in a different direction.

I'm 13- and Ace Frehley is my role model! I think he is great! Because The message he sends kids is to have fun, and be your self!
