Everyone has said that you will be fine and you're like – yeah right! What would they know they aren’t me; they don’t have to do this.

Sound familiar? Know anyone who has ever been nervous about something they have had to do or say? Maybe it’s you? It could be something like asking for a pay rise, breaking up with your boyfriend, standing up in front of a crowd, getting in the lift. You get the gist right? It’s those moments in your life where you are so nervous you can’t think straight.

I know what it’s like when I get nervous about things. Whether it’s for the big things or the little things in life you still want to know how to calm your nerves down don’t you? I mean it would be really useful to have it sorted before you had to go through with it.

I will let you in on the secret that works for me. They say that public speaking is one of the scariest and stressful things, one of people’s biggest fears. Here’s what to do. First thing to do is to take a deep breath and suck in a lot of oxygen. Put your head back too that helps heaps.

Visualise yourself doing whatever it is you have to do – see yourself being really successful and pulling it off brilliantly. Whilst you’re imagining it make it a really bright and colourful picture with lots of sounds to back it up and make sure you feel really great inside when doing this. Like your favourite movie repeat it over and over again just how you expect it to be.

If you find yourself imagining bumming out and failing, turn those images you are playing in your mind into an old black and white movie with no sound and imagine you are watching it on a tiny old tv miles away that you can hardly see it. Your negative thoughts will disappear quickly.

Nerves can be a good thing to get your adrenalin going, if it's more than nerves talk to someone about it so you can enjoy more in life.

CALM DOWN! Don't worry, I'm a current freshman with a BUNCH of freshman cheerleaders that I hang out with. Okay, I'm not a cheerleader but I have (had) stage fright with singing. Just focus on your task at hand. Emense yourself on your routine. If you're nervous by noise at first, then just block it out. Look at your partner and focus on him. Don't take your eyes off him if you need too. Try to look out at the audience though once in a while to show the coach that you're not worried. * THE WHOLE HIGH SCHOOL WILL NOT BE THERE* Usually, only the coach, the current cheerleaders, and family members are there. If the whole high school is there then they have a social issue. GOOD LUCK! Remember, just focus at the task at hand and nothing else. HOPE U MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!

Good luck in high school too! It really isn't all that bad...ENJOY IT!!!

Heres a 5 step process:
1) it wont be infront of the entire highschool
2) just imagine everyone whos looking at you in their underwear
3) Finger yourself
4) use a vibrator
5) Talk to someone about it it will help calm you down. Or even better talk to a pet just to calm you down again then sleep but make sure you listen to some music before get your mind off things!

Extra Step: GO GET EM GIRL!

Sit down. Turn off all the lights. Take in deep breaths. Don't think of anything. Keep breathing deeply. Feel your stomach expanding as you breathe in. Then, let it go slowly. Do this for about 10 -15 minutes. (You could use an egg timer) Try not to think of anything.
Then, get a good night's sleep.
Repeat in the morning if necessary.

that's why rescues stink. They by no skill provide human beings a harm and maximum do not understand elementary canines preparation. You by no skill introduce a clean canines and think of this is going to artwork out now and returned it takes time. canines stay in packs they'd get alongside, purely learn some elementary recommendations. look on youtube or google. Be comfortable and clam around the canines have power of the chief. Be confident.

I suggest going into a public park with your friends and when your ready, practise your routine in front of the other people. If they show signs of you being good then take it as a compliment. Try and get your friends to join in so you will stand out in the crowd. :)

there isnt much you can do.. and second off its spelled "nervous" but you just need to chill out and know that if you dontmake it, there is a reason for everything that happens in life... so dont be mad or upset because maybe something better is waiting for you... just do your best and show EXTREME confidence evn if you mess up, because coaches REALLY LOOK for confidence in a cheerleader even in the face of failure best of luck
