sound card installation problemwid 98se?

keeps asking for correct path to system files search for files put in path but install software still cannot find them.

the installation software is for win 95 does not give instruction for win 98 se

check on the box for win 98 compatibility. since Microsoft stopped supporting win 98 and ME last June, a lot of third party venders did also. You could try going into my computer, and right click on the drive with the CD in it, click on explore and look for the win 98 SE drivers
