My father has not seen me for almost three years, my sister maybe six years. He has three grandchildren he has never met, and he isn't allowed to talk to us. He married a woman who eventually wiped us completely out of his life. Now they have two children of their own. He is not allowed to talk to us, but still..the last time I spoke to him he said he still loved us. I gave up a while back but I was wondering what exactly it is that keeps him under her wing. He has lost us and other family members because of this woman, and still til this day she writes blogs on the net about us. Do you think he is scared of something? Why didnt he get out if he loved us so much? Could she have been threatening him? He spoke with me in secret for a while until i thought it was rediculous. How could he allow someone to push his children away? We were not bad kids, no drugs, no gangs...we weren't straight A students but were not bad.

She's got complete control of him, and he probably allows it because he's afraid that he'll never find anyone better than her.
You should ask him why he chose this woman over his own children. I would.

well, I am sorry for you. your father doesn't deserve you. how could he sleep at night not knowing how you guys doing.
what is special about this women that he allowed her to control his life to the point not to speak to his children. I am so sorry for you, but if I were you I'll be bothering her a lot by writing a letter sending email and calling on the phone urging your Dad to be a men. how could he give you all up for that *****. good luck and try to gain him back if I were you.

if your father still tells you he loves you and talk to in secret maybe he do. he might be scaried of the lady sounds to me like she is crazy don't give up on him he will come around but to answer your question i believe a man will give things up for a woman but not his family something is really going on with him. pray that he comes around GOD will answer those prayers

Only if he has no spine. My brother is like that. He lets his wife control him and make decisions for him. I'm so ashamed that he is in my family. I don't even want to hang out with him anymore. He calls me, but I always keep it brief. I don't hang with people I don't respect.
