Bad, what possible good is intended for the clone?

This technology is not inherently good or bad; it's how you use it. Certainly you can think of cases, such as the cloning of people or pets, which is unnecessary and perhaps unethical. On the other hand, it may be the only way to preserve species that would otherwise go extinct.

Many people are worried about health issues regarding clones. This is a valid concern for now, but it is most likely that eventually the kinks will be worked out and we can reproduce perfect clones. I think this technology is only a couple decades away.

Finally, the argument that something being unnatural is automatically bad is ignorant. Many vaccines are not "natural," yet we gladly use them. Most of the drugs we take when we are sick are also unnatural -- they are synthetic compounds. As a society we've benefited from "unnatural" products for hundreds of years.

BAD.... unnatural and unethical... bad things will come from screwing with nature...

Basically, there will be no stopping it once we allow it... in fact we have already allowed too much with cloning animals...MAYBE some good will come out of it short term....but the long run who knows what could happen...scary things.. basically all those movies about cloning will occur and we will have a whole new set of problems with no clear resolution...the responsibility is too high for ANYONE to have.

Cloning needs to stop..
Cloning animals is bad.
Sure it would be cool to impregnate your mom with her own cells and she would give birth to her self and raise herself. Or to have another you again, and watch a copy of you grow up. But whats the point?

bad... i mean, imagine yourself being cloned. would you even like the experience of seeing another of yourself? i don't think so. besides, you can't clone a human being! it takes many tests before you could actually clone a sheep, and how many sheeps died in the process? what do you think will happen if they clone a real live human?

yes others will say about the bad stuff about over population, unethical and about how its bad to mutate stuff.i agree. but i still think its a great thing. image cloning could mean a cure for cancer, re growing lost limbs. if you get mauled or hurt all you have to do is get those missing parts recoloned. that would be tremendous. think of the possibilities

4 me, it's a bad thing. People choose cloning to stay alive, but I just give it to Lord who gives me this life, and it's up to Him, my savior. if we can tell Him everything, why we have to ask for human to save our life with cloning?

it depends on who is being cloned.
