I think cloning should be regulated. It is a thing we have to accept, because it is now reality. Cloning animals is too commercial for me. I like the natural selection of natural breeding. Cloning humans (homo-sapiens) is frightening, as we will aspire to a perfect race.
I do wish they would reconsider their work on brain stem cell research, as it can benefit many lives already here and in the living. It could reduce a lot of suffering. In this way, cloning healthy cells could eventually eliminate some debilitating diseases, or overcome some life-changing accidents.
I hope the world medical profession can come to terms with scientists and direct this information into an optimistic tool for human advancement, instead of a cause for fear of use. It can be a good thing, thank you.

Cloning can be good or bad depend on how you carry it out.
1. Cloning is good: For example, to wait for orchid has new plant, you can wait forever. Clone them and you get thousands in 3 months, have them grow in a year and they will have flowers about the same time. Same for fruit tree like bananas.
2. Cloning is bad: Cloning animal or human. Since the gene of animals & human are more complicated, cloning those will have problem and create uncompleted ones. Besides, cloning will generate exactly the same individuals, which will make life boring.

no. nope. definitely not.
there nay be consequences of cloning...like, the clonned thing won't live up to certain period of time, it doesn't last long. i don't think i've heard about a clon living for a really long time.
if producing good breed of animals like cows, sheeps is the reason for cloning...it can always be done without having to use the cloning method. you can just breed the good ones only, you'll still get the good breed animals...get what i'm trying to say?
if you meant cloning human, then it's forever "no" from me. there's a reason for everything...and there's a reason why there's only one of each of us.

Good. If you find a good exemplar of a species, it can make sense to have a lot of them.
