maybe a red or a deep blue those are the only two colors i would paint a 68 camaro ss besides black

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. If money is no option, I would go to a good quality panel shop and talk to them about custom colours. See if they can mix your favourite colour and go with that. You are the one owning and driving it, you should be happy about it.
If you want a show car, a good panel shop would also be able to mix you a special colour that would really stand out.
If money is an issue, go for a nice fire engine red with black and chrome.

Are you restoring it? If so, then paint it the original color.
If that doesn't interest you then paint it whatever you like. go to an automotive paint store and start looking at swatches. Take a few that interest you and place them on the car and see what it looks like. I favor white pearl myself, but they have those chromatic paints now that change colors, they are pretty sharp if they are done right.

Red is always a nice color for a camaro. Its sexy, stylish and always looks good. Just remember...it attracts more attention so be careful on the roads!

Black, nothing is more intimidating and commands more respect.
Just be sure to wash it once a week to keep it looking good.
