I will answer this, some of the pics may look a little weird but I truely believe that durring the 80's and 90's, basketball became so much more physical therefore the player from the 80's on had much stiffer competition therefore their records and achievements are more impressive.
Starting at Point Guard would be Magic Johnson since he could pass, shoot, drive to the hole, and defend ( all my player must be able to defend)
Starting at Shooting Guard would be none other than Michael Jordan. Do i need to say why.
At Small Forward I would probably have have Dennis Rodman play that position since he was small enough to but a master at defense.
My Power Forward would be Dominique Wilkins. The man has a monster.
The Center position would have to be Hakeem the Dream
These are my starting five. My reserves would be Oscar Robinson, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird, Kevin garnett, and David Robinson

You picked Keith Van Horn over Larry Bird and you have no point guard. Okaaaaayy........
Magic Johnson - best point guard ever
Michael Jordan - best player ever
Larry Bird - 3 Time Mvp
Bill Russel - 8 straight championships, best rebounding/defending post player ever
Wilt Chamberlain - Best interior scorer ever
Best starting five ever!
Pete Maravich? Gents, he was a circus act. Great player, never won anything, anywhere. Do you want your team to win or look good losing?

Now do you think thses players could ever lose if they were a unit in their primes?!!!
Unselfishness and proven winners.
Could you imagine each trying to outdo the next..lmao damn!
There are so many to choose from such as Barkley and Mc Hale. Jerry West, Pistol Pete, but I could only choose so many.
