how can a white man be racist against whites? i guess ive heard crazier things but i cant understand it comeing from such an intellegent man

well its just that 350 million is a large sum and it only excludes whites an asian, everyone else is ok... if it was the other way around an he only gave to whites there would be an uproar from hell IMO..

1.) Bill gates did not invent anything, there are people who are far more intelligent in his field, they just cant get at the market.
2.) Women are included too, its for the under-represented in technology. There are also several other scholarships that are only income based.

He has given A LOT of money to all kinds of sources (check source for old article). Some are racist (ex: United ***** College Fund) and some are not.
Just goes to show that you can't please everyone all the time. No matter what good you do, and to whom, there is always gonna be someone pissy about it.

Like Oprah said about her all black girls school in Africa when asked why there were no white students, I don't have to explain anything to white folks. Is Oprah racist ?

He has different ones for different things. In my area, many white people have been awarded full free rides to any college they want to go to (that they are qualified for).

it might be bcuz he feels the majority of whites and asians can afford to go to college but if you go to the projects and my the ghetto's then you see mostly blacks but i am not racist i am jut giving my point of view

it makes me angry to about all this scholarships that are only for minorities. i don't have anything against them... BUT... I'm an average white girl from a middle class family and i am pay for all my schooling out of pocket and barely making it. and I'm NOT eligible for ANY scholarships because I'm not a minority... if so many scholarships for minorities are given out then what about others struggling to pay for college? its all f*** up

YOU KNOW WHY.... because if he donated it to the whites, than he would be labeled racist and all the lazy black people would sue him. Plain and simple.
